What is pest-control insulation?

It's recycled newspaper insulation infused with an organic pest-prevention product. The recycled cellulose insulates your home beautifully — keeping it warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and quieter year-round — while the organic additive helps deter the pests that love to nest in attics and wall cavities. It's the same fewer-chemicals thinking behind everything we do, applied to your insulation.
A note on fiberglass and foam
Traditional fiberglass does nothing to discourage pests — mice and insects nest in it happily. Spray foam has its uses, but applied around a foundation it can make termite activity harder to spot during inspections and may affect some termite warranties.
